Albert de Vaal (1966) is associate professor International Trade within Nijmegen School of Management of Radboud University, Nijmegen. He received his training at Erasmus University Rotterdam, from where he received his PhD-degree in 1995. From 1995-1997 he worked as a post-doc researcher at the University of Groningen. His teaching and research activities focus mainly on explaining and understanding (effects of) international trade, foreign direct investment and the fairness of trade.
