Trading in Coffee

Brief overview of the authors work in Papua New Guinea and Mexico with coffee farmers, the article notes that coffee farmers do not generally choose organic growing methods for the same reasons as Northern consumers. More reflection on the part of consumers is needed, as well as further study of the links between anthropology and commodities.
