Introduction: Fair Trade in Tourism – Applications and Experience

This article is a summary of five papers at a conference specifically about how Fair Trade can be applied to the field of tourism. It highlights the main concerns involved in this application, such as what could be done at the North and the South, and how African countries have reacted to the introduction of Fair Trade tourism.
