I have over thirty years of international work experience in Fair Trade, Social Entrepreneurship, International Development, International Marketing and Disaster Response. I was an artisan turned Social Entrepreneur, was a founding Director of the Asia Fair Trade Forum (AFTF) presently known as the World Fair Trade Organization Asia (WFTO Asia).
Since 2013, I have been leading audit teams to Thailand, Indonesia, Maldives, India, Philippines, Solomon Islands and Sri Lanka on surveillance, un-announced and forensic audits. Evaluated supply chains of a distinguished portfolio of Global Multinational Corporates in Agriculture, Wild Captured Fisheries and Non-food Products (Apparel & Crafts).

Inspecting and reporting on working conditions at farms, fishing vessels and processing facilities extending from grassroots fisher-folk / artisans / farmers to large operations against Global Social Compliance and Sustainable standards.

Assessing of large scale Industries in fulfilling legal, ethical, women’s empowerment, human rights, workplace rights & safety, sanitation, social and environmental responsibilities in compliance to applicable standards with focus on traceability of product flow from fishers/farmer, storage, processing to packing & labelling and distribution.
I have also served numerous clients in having their supply chains certification-ready by training and establishing systems and documentation in complaince to applicable standards.
