Beyond Sweatshops: Fair Trade, Co-Op Development, and the Birth of a New Economy

This very brief article outlines the need for further study on fair trade, sweatshops, cooperative development, and labor among students, activists, researchers, and journalists working in the South Pacific. It calls for a "Fair Trade Tool Kit" to be produced, and for the need for fairly traded coffee and souvenirs to be sold at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
