fair-trade related: consumer narratives, construction of ethical selves, representation of producers and consumers in fair trade marketing, national differences in fair trade consumerism
general: consumerism, social theory, sociology of health and illness, industrial relations

studied sociology in Freiburg and Tubingen (Germany), now lecturer in sociology at the University of Exeter (England), currently working on an ESRC-funded research project 'Fair Trade Consumerism as an Everyday Ethical Practice / A Comparative Perspective', which will aim at establishing how alternative ethics of consumption are employed and accounted for in the construction of moral selves and how they relate to the "moral grammar" of larger social contexts by actualizing, questioning and developing it.
