Born in Portugal and for many years involved with fair trade and development issues as an activist and now as a researcher.
- (between 2002 - 2007) Member of the board of 2 FTOs in Portugal, responsible for Education for development projects focused on sustainable development, FT awareness and campaigning.
- (since 2006) Educator in Intercultural education and Migrations issues as external trainer for the portuguese High Commission for Immigration
- Master in African Studies with research on girls education in Mozambique
- Consultancy works for research institutes and NGOs (diagnosis and monitoring)in Angola and Mozambique.
- Now living in Kenya, which is the field research for my Phd about fair trade in Africa, focused on its impact on shifting women's social roles
