Graduate of the University of Vermont (BS) and Saint Michael's College in Colchester VT (MSA). Completed Master's thesis "The Challenges of Marketing Fair Trade" Spring 2008. VT licensed Business and Spanish teacher. 25 years of business experience, including retail, marketing, small business consulting and real estate. Assisted in a marketing class at UNICO in Santa Ana, El Salvador. Committee head for Burlington Fair Trade Town Initiative. Developing Fair Trade educational programs for retail employees and high school/college level classes.

I have been in the for profit business of marketing/sales for 25 years. For the past few years I have been applying that knowledge to researching and analyzing marketing issues related to Fair Trade in the U.S. Currently I am organizing an initiative to make Burlington VT the next U.S. Fair Trade Town.
