Author's short biography:
I have undertaken research on a range of sustainability standards, including fair trade, particularly in agricultural products. Formerly at the Natural Resources Institute, as part of the Natural Resources and Ethical Trade programme, I am now a Senior Lecturer in the Sustainability Research Institute, School of Earth and Environment, University of Leeds. I manage an MSc programme:MSc Sustainability (Business, Environment and Corporate Responsibility), teaching on sustainability and business issues, especially with a focus on developing countries. I have recently completed an ESRC-DFID project on private standards in agri-food chains. I have undertaken research in Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia, South Africa, Uganda and Sudan. |
