Author's short biography:
I am currently a greenbuilding consultant and do some part-time consulting on Fair Trade, particularly program development, with Eighth Wonder and RICE, Inc., a Phillipino Cordillera region traditional rice terrace project.
In the past, I worked with the ForesTrade, Inc. in 2002-3 and helped them secure the UNDP award (only company from US) for Sustainable Business Partnerships at the World Summit in 2002. I worked with coffee and spice fair trade imports and wrote a social accountability audit for this company. My masters thesis was case study on ForesTrade, Fair Trade, and the comparative impacts of the free market economic model. |
